Inverted Hex, LLC makes software and does contract work. This policy explains how Inverted Hex treats your personal information. The short version: Inverted Hex does not want your personal information, and Inverted Hex does not sell it. Inverted Hex collects personal information only when you contact the company, and only to help you.

Scope

This policy covers Inverted Hex, LLC as a company. It covers the company website and general contact with the company.

Each application suite can use its own privacy policy. That policy defines the scope for the suite. Read the policy for the app you use. This company policy applies where an app has no policy of its own.

What Inverted Hex does not do

• Inverted Hex does not sell your personal information.
• Inverted Hex does not rent or trade your personal information.
• Inverted Hex does not use your personal information for advertising.
• Inverted Hex does not build a profile of you.
• Inverted Hex does not track you across other websites.

What Inverted Hex collects

Inverted Hex collects as little as possible. Inverted Hex collects personal information only when you send it.

You send personal information when you do one of these things:

• You email the company.
• You file a bug report from an app.
• You ask the company to do work for you.
• You fill out a form on the company website.

The information is what you choose to type or attach. It can include your name, your email address, and the details of your request.

The company website

The company website does not show ads. The website does not use third-party trackers. A web host can keep a standard access log, such as your address on the network and your browser type. The host keeps this log for security and reliability, not to identify you.

How Inverted Hex uses your information

Inverted Hex uses your information only to help you. Inverted Hex uses it to:

• answer you,
• fix a problem you report,
• do work you ask for,
• keep records of that work.

Inverted Hex does not use your information for any other purpose.

Bug reports

Some apps let you file a bug report. A bug report can include technical details and logs. The privacy policy for each app lists what its bug report contains. Read that policy before you send a report.

Sharing

Inverted Hex does not share your personal information with third parties. Two limited exceptions apply:

• Inverted Hex uses service providers to run the business, such as an email provider or a web host. A provider only processes the data it needs to give its service.
• Inverted Hex shares information when the law requires it.

Retention

Inverted Hex keeps your information only as long as needed. Inverted Hex keeps a bug report until it resolves the issue. Inverted Hex keeps work records for as long as the work and the law require. Inverted Hex deletes information when it no longer needs it.

Security

Inverted Hex protects the information you send. Inverted Hex limits who can read it. Inverted Hex stores it only where needed to help you.

Children

Inverted Hex products are not directed to children. Inverted Hex does not knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

• You choose what to send Inverted Hex. The company collects nothing about you until you make contact.
• You can ask what information Inverted Hex holds about you.
• You can ask Inverted Hex to delete your information.
• To make a request, write to the address below.

Changes to this policy

Inverted Hex can update this policy. Inverted Hex will change the effective date at the top when it does. Review this policy from time to time.
